We have to go back to the summer of 1997 at Fuengirola, Málaga (Spain), to find the seed of Concrete Tree, although the band is not yet formed with all its components untill fall of 1998.
They record their first Demo album on October 1999, “Too many puppets”, auto-produced and auto-distributed and sold more than 500 copies.
Winning the Rock & Surf Festival celebrated at the Fuengirola Beach, gave them the key to participate in the finals of Mancurock’00 Festival (Istán).
On January 2001 they enter the recording studio again to produce their second Demo album called “Silence is a gift”.
Many national magazines as Metal Hammer, Mondo Sonoro and Rock Sound start to talk about the band. In this last one, “Rock Sound”, appears an interview and one of their songs included in the compiled cd attached with the magazine. From that moment on they start to be a national and international well-known band, and the number of concerts start to increase...
At the end of 2002 they enter again the studio to record their first Album, “Sunrise in the sunset”. From then and till today their main goal is to find a label company to produce and distribute their first album; you can download 3 of their songs from www.concretetreemusic.com.
On 2004 they participate in the national tour of Eastpack-Rock Sound Festival, with bands like After Feed-Back, Hedtrip o Terroristars, appearing again in Rock Sound magazine with interview and a song in the compiled cd.
July 2004 they participate in the Mistic Music National Contest winning the first prize and playing with bands like Sober, Dover, Sexy Sadie at the Mistic Music Festival 04 (www.mmfestival.com); being also included in the compiled cd of Mistic Music Volume 1.
It is not easy to classify their music, although they are a band with a metal soul, they have a tendency to mix other types of metal as screamo or hardcore, never leaving the melodic signature behind.
