The story begins in the year 2000 when the original members established Half Shell. These talented founding members included Gerald (Scooter) Barns, Guitar & Vocals; George Snyder, Guitar & Vocals; Randy Anderson, Drums; and Buddy Lambert on Bass. During the last 5 years, Half Shell has undergone several changes in their line-up, however their music continues to grow. Randy's beat continues to anchor the band and Dirty George's soaring leads are now joined by Peter Friedlander's hard charging bass, Don Schade's steady rhythms and Shell Rai's mesmerizing vocals. Half Shell blends the dynamic and varied individual musical talents of these five experienced performing musicians to create a " rockin" party atmosphere with enough variation to excite young and old. Ranging in age from 30 to 50, they perform the rock, blues, country, and top 40 sounds of the yesterday and today to get people moving and having a good time.
