Nashville, TN. Recording Artists - Jacob's Well is not only a band with an Alternative Rock sound but a Rock Solid Foundation in Jesus Christ. They are currently based out of First Assembly of God, Fort Wayne, IN.

Jacob's Well was formed in 1998. Their humble beginnings started at one of the churches in the city of Fort Wayne, Calvary Temple. There, they actively participated as part of the praise and worship team for both the main service and the youth ministry.

Jacob's Well is a band that is very serious about the calling on their lives. They're not interested in being "Rock Stars" but about reaching the world of Lost Souls, the Back-Sliden as well as Believers with the Gospel Message.

They are able to accomplish this due to much of their music being written in the style of a Parable. The message is clear to those who want to hear. And it is Stealth to those who do not because of the Scriptural basis of most of their music. The verbiage is current. Therefore, the music can be played and not categorized by any genre. Their music is described as "Positive Message Alternative Rock and Soul" for this reason. Not to mention, their varied sound and harmonies gives this rock genre a soulish undertone that has an appeal to all ages and cultures. If there was ever a question as to if this group could really reach the world with their genre... Specifically, Jacob's Well has been invited to go to Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania to share their music with the people of these countries. They were invited by Senior Pastor Rev Jonathan E. & Rose Mudenyo, of New Hope Christian Center.

As song writers, the words that God has given them, they have had many blessed opportunities to share with others. They have opened for Switchfoot (Columbia Records), Cool Hand Luke (Floodgate Records/Warner Bros.), Jonah33 (Ardent Records), Grits (Gotee Records), Across The Sky (Curb Records/Warner Bros.) and Ministered in Music as the Headline Act for many Events. They participated in the MCA Universal Records - NASHVILLE PRODUCERS AUDITIONS in Greenwood, IN. where they received an outstanding evaluation from MCA Universal Records Producer of the Year and Hall of Fame Recipient, Mr. Robert Metzgar of Capitol Management Group. They have been honored to play awesome venues such as The Door - Dallas TX., The Upper Room - Farmersville TX., Come2go ministries, Club Logos, The Wreck and Columbia Street West in Indiana just to name a few.

What sets them apart from other bands? Most Bands have a lead vocalist, but Jacobs Well has two! This has allowed their harmonies, style and sound to bring to the stage a variety that appeals to all audiences. They do not sound like everybody else. Though they have been compared to Creed, Pearl Jam, Saliva and Sevendust. They have also been told their sound is unique, gripping and soulful. It is truly written from their own life experiences and God has given Jacobs Well the opportunity to be the vessel HE uses to touch hearts and change lives. They freely admit they owe it all to God!!!
