Skyeline was formed in the summer of 2004. After the breakup of a previous group, band members Frank Breckley (Lead Vocals, Acoustic Guitar), James Hetzel (Harmonica, Percussion, Vocals), and Chuck Shepherd (Acoustic and Electric Guitars, Bass, Banjo, Mandolin, Vocals) created Skyeline. Their name comes from ?Skyline Drive,? a beautiful scenic drive that runs through the Blue Ridge Mountains in Central Virginia, and inspires their songwriting. Frank has a deep Country musical background, James has a definitive Blues background, and Chuck?s experience ranges from Classical to Hard Rock. With the addition of Eze Gutierrez on Drums, Percussion, and Vocals, Skyeline has expanded their sound even further. Eze brings a Latin influence into the music from his home country of Costa Rica. Eze?s experience ranges from Big Band to Heavy Metal.
Skyeline?s eclectic music has topped the Country Charts on Soundclick with five consecutive #1 releases. Their CD entitled ?The Skye?s the Limit? is currently under production and is slated for a first quarter, 2007 release. The CD is being produced by Chuck Shepherd and co-produced by Eze Gutierrez. The songs will range from soft acoustic pieces to Progressive Country Rock, and including songs by Skyeline?s friends Beth Davidson, Patti Stevens, Jody Dickey, and David Daniel Beckom.
